Welcome in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the website of St. Francis Anglican Church in Blacksburg, Virginia. On this site you can get to know our parish and what we do. You will discover a diverse community devoted to living and proclaiming the redeeming love of Jesus Christ, and the ancient, unchanging faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3). ST. FRANCIS AT A GLANCE
A FAITHFUL CHURCH:
We believe that Bible is the inspired word of God, and that salvation is found through Jesus Christ alone, who is “God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God.”
A FAMILY CHURCH:
We believe that there ARE moral absolutes, and that the Scriptures are quite clear about them, and that they apply to everyone equally, everywhere, without exception.
A TRADITIONAL CHURCH:
We worship the living Triune God with the great, time-honored hymns of the faith, the King James Bible, and the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Our worship is dignified, yet spirit-filled.
A MISSIONAL CHURCH:
We believe that following Christ means being faithful to the Great Commission, and loving our neighbor as ourself, so we support a variety of local and foreign missions.
